Application for mutual apartment swap

If you find a suitable apartment exchange partner on the residents apartment exchange page or elsewhere, you must make a mutual swap application to Haso together.

Please note:

  • The processing time for the exchange application is about 1–2 months, which should be taken into account when thinking about the time of exchange that is suitable for both of you.
  • The apartments are accepted either way in the condition they are in. You should familiarize yourself with the apartments very carefully in advance.
  • Contract changes are made with the sales department. After that both parties can sign their new contracts.
  • The change may not be agreed until the swap applications have been processed, approved and the new contracts have been signed.

Transferral of right-of-occupancy apartment

Transferral is one option if you want to keep the right of residence within the same family.

Please note:

  • The holder of the right-of-occupancy can transfer the apartment to a spouse or a relative in the ascending or descending line, or to another family member permanently living in the apartment. The apartment cannot be given to another person.
  • You must live in the apartment yourself for at least two years before you can give it away. Only co-ownership of the right-of-occupancy can be dissolved in favor of the co-owner, even if he has not lived in the apartment for two years.
  • The process:
  • The processing of transferral takes about 1–2 months, depending on the queue situation. During the processing time, the present value of the right-of-occupancy fee is calculated. The price confirmation is delivered to the giver and recipient, and the Haso seller agrees on signing a new contract with both of them.
  • In transferral, the right-of-occupancy fee or its share is not returned from Haso to the resident’s account in between, but the giver and recipient must agree on financial matters between themselves.
  • The resident’s original copy of the right-of-occupancy contract must also be returned to Haso as part of the handover.
